Tara Wood dedicates her practice to the areas of Elder Law and Medicaid Planning. In 2010, she graduated from the University of Florida, cum laude, and subsequently went on to receive her law degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law.
While attending Nova, she was an active member of the Moot Court Society, holding board positions throughout her membership. She also served as a research assistant for several of her professors, which allowed her to gain invaluable insight from seasoned legal professionals. While in law school, Tara realized that she had a passion for advocating for the elderly and wanted to make a difference in the elder community. She has engaged in seminars to educate the public on the importance of protecting the elder population and steps necessary to plan for long-term care.
Tara is currently a member of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, Junior League of Boca Raton and the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar.
Tara lives in Coconut Creek, Florida with her husband Jonathan and their two dogs, Willie and Tank.
